From Poughkeepsie to Paris Cover Reveal

September 04, 2017

Hey, Fabs!

You all have been waiting so patiently for the release of my book, From Poughkeepsie to Paris: A Ghetto Girl's Journey to Becoming a Fabulous Woman. I'm happy to announce I've made great progress with my new publisher and we're getting increasingly closer to launching the book. With that being said, I'm happy to reveal the book cover to you!

It was challenging trying to come up with the right look for the book. I wanted it to look feminine and girly yet strong and powerful. I wanted to have elements from the rough side of Poughkeepsie on the cover yet include elements from the fabulous side of Paris. It took literally three months for me to decide on and finalize the cover. Admittedly, I'm a bit of a perfectionist...and extremely indecisive. Don't judge me. Lol! God bless my book designer who so graciously accepted every request for edits and took every critique in stride.

Fingers crossed, From Poughkeepsie to Paris will be available for purchase by Christmas 2017. However, please don't hold me to that. As I've written about previously, this whole journey has thrown me for so many loops. This is my first experience as a published author and there have been so many things that have popped up that caused the launch of my book to be delayed. As a result, I'm reluctant to throw dates out there. I don't want to get your hopes up and then disappoint you if something doesn't turn out like I expected. So, bare with me, Fabs.

Lastly, I want to thank you all for riding with me on this book-writing and publishing journey. Thank you for reading and sharing my blog articles, watching my YouTube videos, following me on Instagram, believing in me, and sending me positive energy through your comments and emails.

Writing this book was the hardest thing I've ever done. I poured my heart and soul out on every one of the 297 pages I've written. In the book, I gave you my life story - the good, the bad, and the ugly. I let you in on my painful journey to success and overcoming poverty, abuse, depression, and a ghetto mindset. I tell you about all the lessons I've learned and all the mistakes I've made so that your journey will be a lot easier than mine.

From Poughkeepsie to Paris will inspire you to live your life amazingly, freely, and fabulously! This book will literally change your life. It is God-breathed and appointed just for you...and it was also VERY therapeutic for me.

I can't wait for you to read it when it becomes available! As soon as I launch it, I will be letting you know through this website and all my social media sites.

In the meantime, please stay connected to me by subscribing to my YouTube channel, following me on Instagram, and continuing to read my blog. I have a lot of exciting and inspiring things I will be sharing with you on these platforms, including my upcoming world travel in October.

Stick with me, Fabs. One of my greatest joys in life is inspiring you to live life fabulously.

With love,

Quan Lanae Green
